UPSC Recruitment 2023 – 1261 Officer and Other Posts

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of the recruitment for the posts of Medical Officers and Others (Through the CMS Examination). Eligible candidates can apply before 09-05-2023 (18:00 hrs).

Category I		(i) For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination. (ii) A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation if they do not produce proof of having passed the written and practical part of the final M.B.B.S. Examination along with the detailed application which will be required to be submitted to the Commission by the candidates who qualify on the result of the written examination. Such proof of passing the requisite examination should have been issued latest by the closing date of the Detailed Application Form of the Combined Medical Services Examination, 2023. (iii) A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection, he/she will be appointed only after he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship.

Age Limit:- A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the rules.

Pay Scale:- Level 10 of Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-)

Application Fee:- Candidates (excepting Female/ SC/ ST/ Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI Payment or by using Internet Banking of any Bank.

Candidates must take a printout of the online submitted application form and receipt of fees for future reference.

Selection Procedure:- Written Examination and Personality Test/ Interview

Note:-

Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Candidature may be immediately canceled on account of Canvassing.
Application forms have to be filled only online mode, No offline forms would be accepted.
